Accessible Clicks

Letters on inclusion, accessibility, health, and life — from someone who lives it.

A quiet, real newsletter for people navigating disability, healing, leadership, and the slow, brave work of becoming whole — in a world that doesn’t always make room.

No noise. No spam. Just honest words you can keep.

    Unsubscribe anytime.

This is not a productivity newsletter.

This is a place to breathe.

    What you’ll receive

When you subscribe, you’ll receive letters that explore:

    • Accessibility beyond checklists — the human side of inclusion
    • Health and healing, especially when life forces you to slow down
    • Work, purpose, and leadership without abandoning yourself
    • Soft strength — the kind that doesn’t perform for applause
    • Reflections you can carry into everyday life

Usually once a week. Sometimes more when life has something to say.

    A page from my book

Gaining Vision Upon Losing My Sight

Before you trust my words, I want you to meet my heart.

I became totally blind when I was 18.
I initially saw it as a misery, a downfall, a terrible tragedy.
In some ways it is — but as my new life unfolded, it turned out to be a fantastic journey, an exciting expedition, a transformative voyage.
It became the kind of journey that turned miseries into miracles, burdens into blessings, trials into triumphs.
And somehow, the very things I thought would break me became my shortcut to discovering what truly matters — and what I’m here to do.

If that paragraph held you for even a second, you’ll feel at home in these letters.

    Who this is for

This space is for you if you are:

    • Living with disability — visible or invisible
    • Rebuilding your health, your energy, or your life pace
    • Someone who cares about inclusion but wants it to be human
    • Tired of performing strength and craving something sustainable
    • Learning how to keep going without losing yourself

And also for you if you believe:

People deserve to belong — in systems, in spaces, and in stories.

    Hi, I’m Rhea.

I’m a blind accessibility professional and a lupus survivor.

I’ve spent years working in digital accessibility — and I’ve lived the kind of health battles that rearrange your priorities and teach you what really matters.

I write these letters for people who live in the in-between:
not fully healed, not broken — just human, choosing gentler ways to live, work, and include.

Because inclusion is not a principle to me.

    It is personal.

    It is survival.

    It is home.

    What makes Accessible Clicks different

There are lots of newsletters that teach.
    This one walks with you.

You’ll receive reflections grounded in lived experience, quiet leadership, and the slow building of accessible systems — with reminders that you do not have to harden yourself to be strong.

    Sometimes we’ll talk accessibility.
    Sometimes health.
    Sometimes life itself.

Everything circles back to one thing:
Belonging — the kind you don’t have to earn.
